King's Guard

Your job? Push the King to safety. Simple.  

The problem?  

• Two of your soldiers are assassins waiting to stab him.  
• Two are greedy mercenaries who’ll ditch you for gold.  
• Traps are everywhere. You won’t see them until it’s too late.  
• Food is running out, but cynical jokes aren't.

The mechanics?

• Among the King's Guard, there are two Mercenaries and two Assassins.
• A Mercenary will seize treasure and flee the moment they get their hands on it.
• An Assassin can kill the King if left alone with him.
• However, placing another Soldier next to the Assassin will disrupt their plans.
• The only way to save the King is to push him off the game board
• If only it weren’t for those damn hidden traps.
